2012 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

19,000 people fit into the new Barclays Center to see Jay-Z perform. This blog was viewed about 77,000 times in 2012. If it were a concert at the Barclays Center, it would take about 4 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

  1. OMG, I did comment 174 times at yours this year! What a fan I am of yours!

Although I have never had the patience to stay in any life concert to the end, I can very well imagine what it is like when the crowds shout for encore and the artist starts singing:

I came and stay because I like the music you choose. Translators are like les chercheurs d’or and many of them die without a nugget in hand. I am grateful for 2012 in the first half of which I lost 3 regular clients and of whom 2 came back in Oktober and November. There came two new clients in December and they fill out part of my schedule January, 2013.

Looking forward to wonderful posts of yours in 2013 und einen guten Rutsch!

    • I bet you didn’t expect that one of the smallest countries in the world to yield such a high readers rate… If a proper calculation were to be done, IL will be high up in the list of following countries 😉

      • Yes, I had a lot of readers in Israel thanks to a blogger who was writing about me silly posts in Hebrew. I translated some of what she wrote for myself with Google Translate.

I think it was you, wasn’t it?

      • Nope, not me — unfortunately I don’t have time to write a blog, only just about enough time to read one… I chose yours 😉

  4. Interesting that the most used search term that led people to this blog was apparently “politeness in different cultures”. I bet you couldn’t have planned it that way!

Anway, may I wish you a very happy New Year and success and happy blogging in 2013!

Well, that’s probably because my posts are very cultured and extremely polite at the same time.

Thank you so much for catching all those numerous misspellings and other grave errors on my blog in 2012 and a Happy 2013 to you and your family!
